Trip to Kampung Broga, Kajang (19/4/09)

It's not first time for me to visit Broga, i think i've been Broga for few times since this year. Broga has been a popular countryside village these days especially among the Kl people. With the rebuilt of Famous Relic Stone Temple as famous landmark in Broga, Alot of people intended to visit this temple for divine help / intervention. It is said that many people has stroke lotteries / 4Ds after visiting the temple.

Today i brought my secondary schoolmates to Broga with only one purpose, to hunt for fresh grilled fish. Ya!! Grilled fish is the popular cuisine you can find in Broga. You can find a few Grilled fish Restaurants along the way to Broga Temple, but those are just the normal grilled fish restaurant. The-one-you-must-try is located behind the Broga temple (there is a small narrow pathway at the left of the temple) named 石水烧鱼 (rock water grilled fish @@). The restaurant is located beside a big pond, you can observe alot of cars parked along the pondside.

'What makes the grilled fish so delicious?' One of my buddy asked me. hmm..fresh, the fish is killed and cooked on the spot..2ndly, the fish mud smell. you wouldn't taste any mud flavour inside these fish. Some people don't like to eat fish stomachs due to heavy mud smell (me), but i managed to finish all of them, =D Thirdly, they're using charcoal to 'bakar' the fish, thus the fish is hardly to be found overcooked, and they're excessively JUICY!! Therefore, it's quite normal for the customers to order 1 fish for 1 person. There are 10 different type of flavour, i like the Tom yum style and their bestseller style grilled fish!! X3

Oh ya, it's quite cheap to have lunch here =D 1 fish is approximately rm 10-15 (depends on how heavy / big the fishes are). They open from 11am till 5pm, rest on thursday. I suggest you all to come early, 11am -12pm, if not you would be going to wait for at least 30-60mins, plus no parking =D

NICE!! drooling...post more food pic mer hahaha...
but for my opinion rite...the "pancreatic" bitterness taste of the fish is due to the lack of effort on cleaning the tummy part of the fish haha...tats wat i learn from ma landlord...i duno izzit apply to all da fish...but somehow if they willing to brush it more thoroughly...u can get rid of da taste easily :P lol
